Course Objectives 

 Explain the role and background of aesthetic laser providers, including Texas State laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
 Demonstrate knowledge of skin anatomy, perform skin assessments using the Fitzpatrick scale, and identify conditions.
  Describe and follow proper sanitary, safety guidelines, and Laser Safety Officer responsibilities as per Texas Administrative Code Rule 118.32.
 Understand the fundamentals and classifications of lasers, including treatment protocols, safety control measures, and equipment requirements.
 Conduct professional consultations, assess client history, and communicate potential treatments for specific skin conditions.
 Explain and perform post-treatment protocols, ensuring professional and ethical client interactions. 
 Apply laser procedures and skin treatments, developing specialized techniques for targeted skin conditions.
 Demonstrate critical thinking in client care, apply skills through case studies, mock labs, and supervised practical sessions.
 Complete CPR Certification and maintain a treatment log as per Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation requirements.
 Develop a professional portfolio showcasing acquired skills and knowledge, and understand TDLR Technician registration requirements.
